How to play

Four ways to pull

Play with the pull above, or with a printed deck from the print-your-own kit. Either way, the cards are in charge.

  1. Solo

    The daily pull

    1. Shuffle and pull one card before you open your laptop.
    2. Read the fate out loud. Yes, out loud.
    3. At the end of the day, decide whether it came true.

  2. Solo

    Morning, afternoon, night

    1. Deal three cards face down in a row.
    2. Flip one at the start of each part of your day.
    3. When all three are up, count the moods.

  3. 2 or more

    Most cursed wins

    1. Everyone pulls one card and keeps it hidden.
    2. Take turns reading your fate in your most dramatic voice.
    3. Vote on the most cursed fate. The winner gets bragging rights and shuffles next round.

  4. A team

    Stand-up tarot

    1. At the start of a meeting, everyone pulls one card.
    2. Say in one sentence how it applies to what you’re working on today.
    3. Nobody argues with the cards.

Reading the moods

  • Blessed Good news, cautiously.
  • Cursed A warning. Take it or don’t.
  • Chaotic Could go either way. Probably both.

Pulled three? Count the moods. Three blessed: don’t tell anyone, they’ll get weird. Three cursed: honestly, impressive. Three chaotic: put your phone in a drawer.
